AN ADULT CASE OF KERION CELSI DUE TO <i>TRICHOPHYTON TONSURANS</i>

Abstract

ABSTRACT An adult case of kerion Celsi was reported. The patient was a 28‐year‐old housewife who lived in Tokyo. The fungus isolated was identified as Trichophyton tonsurans , indicating that this rare fungus can be isolated in Tokyo despite the lack of previous reports.
