We have measured, using electron spectroscopy, the lowest-energy doubly hollow lithium triply excited ${(3l3l}^{\ensuremath{'}}{3l}^{\ensuremath{''}})$ ${}^{2}P$ state. Energies, widths, and partial cross sections have been measured and calculated using the saddle-point technique and the $R$-matrix approximation. Our results show good agreement between experimental and theoretical data for the energy and the width of the doubly hollow state.
