Four cases of multifocal intracranial arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are presented. They represent a heterogeneous group of multifocal AVMs comprised of unilateral intracerebral AVMs, bilateral intracerebral AVMs, bilateral intracerebral AVMs with a deep midline AVM, and an intracerebral AVM with a tentorial AVM. The case histories and the diagnostic and therapeutic considerations are discussed. These cases are indicative of an unusual “syndrome” that seems not to have been described previously.
