We have found that the intensity and polarization of secondary electrons emitted from Au/Fe(110) oscillate periodically as a function of the Au film thickness. The periods of both oscillations are 15 \AA{}, but they have opposite polarities. This result can be attributed to confined energy states in the Au film.
