Abstract

We perform a systematic study of the possible loosely bound states composed of two charmed baryons or a charmed baryon and an anticharmed baryon within the framework of the one-boson-exchange model. We consider not only the $\ensuremath{\pi}$ exchange but also the $\ensuremath{\eta}$, $\ensuremath{\rho}$, $\ensuremath{\omega}$, $\ensuremath{\phi}$, and $\ensuremath{\sigma}$ exchanges. The $S\ensuremath{-}D$ mixing effects for the spin triplets are also taken into account. With the derived effective potentials, we calculate the binding energies and rms radii for the systems ${\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}({\overline{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}}_{c})$, ${\ensuremath{\Xi}}_{c}{\ensuremath{\Xi}}_{c}({\overline{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}_{c})$, ${\ensuremath{\Sigma}}_{c}{\ensuremath{\Sigma}}_{c}({\overline{\ensuremath{\Sigma}}}_{c})$, ${\ensuremath{\Xi}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{'}}{\ensuremath{\Xi}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{'}}({\overline{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{'}})$, and ${\ensuremath{\Omega}}_{c}{\ensuremath{\Omega}}_{c}({\overline{\ensuremath{\Omega}}}_{c})$. Our numerical results indicate that (1) the $H$-dibaryonlike state ${\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}$ does not exist and (2) there may exist four loosely bound deuteronlike states for the ${\ensuremath{\Xi}}_{c}{\ensuremath{\Xi}}_{c}$ and ${\ensuremath{\Xi}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{'}}{\ensuremath{\Xi}}_{c}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ systems with small binding energies and large rms radii.
