Liver Transplantation in Rats Using Small-for-Size Grafts

Abstract

In a rat model, the portal hemodynamic changes in small-for-size grafts are transient. Progressive damage of the graft may result from microcirculatory failure due to irreversible endothelial injury after reperfusion.
