Risk-benefit experience of ciprofloxacin use in pediatric patients in the United Kingdom

Abstract

These data support the use of ciprofloxacin in children in selected situations where the efficacy outweighs any considerable risk, thereby minimizing misuse and overuse of this antimicrobial agent.
