Ruthenium‐Catalyzed Hydrogenation of Bicarbonate in Water

Abstract

The hydrogenation of bicarbonate in water is achieved by using a ruthenium-based catalytic system. In the presence of dppm as ligand improved yields and catalyst TONs compared to previously known catalyst systems are achieved.
