Abstract An ASP flooding pilot of close well spacing in Gudong Oilfield was conducted successfully. The producers appeared obvious responses to the ASP flooding. The ultimate oil recovery increased by 13.4% OOIP. This paper describes the whole process of the ASP flooding and the analysis of the reservoir performance based on the injection/production data, single well tracer surveys, carbon/oxygen log, sealing core drilling and monitoring the properties of the fluids.
