We have extended series expansions for both lattice animals and percolation (which model branched polymers and gels, respectively), and also have obtained Monte Carlo simulations of systems 1000 times larger than hitherto studied (17 \ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{} ${10}^{9}$ sites). We find more precise estimates of the corresponding "correction-to-scaling exponents," and calculate the "correction-to-scaling function" ${f}_{1}(z)$ for the first time.
