Evaluation of Previous Assessments of Prism Directions in Human Enamel

Abstract

Prism directions determined from the two-dimensional appearances of ground sections and of etched and stained ground sections were compared with geometrically constructed prism profiles to assess the accuracy of previous interpretations of enamel structure made from similar sections.
