Preventive Behaviors and Knowledge of Tick-Borne Illnesses

Abstract

Public health interventions focusing on accurately communicating risk, improving knowledge both of LD symptoms and of ticks that carry the disease, as well as teaching preventive behaviors may help reduce tick-borne illness rates.
