Abstract

The ‘Azaninster’ gene Pml in Triticum aestivum L. em. Thell. (aestivum group) for resistance to Erysiphe graminis DC. f., sp. tritici Em. Marchal was located on the long arm of chromosome 7A, 50 or more crossover units from the centromere. The gene was located through use of telocentrics. In competition with the complete 7A chromosome, the short‐arm telocentric was transmitted through pollen to t2 of 215 offspring and the long‐arm telocentric to none of 16.
