Abstract

In the previous paper,1} we reported the isolation of curromycin A, which is structurally closely related with oxazolomycin,2) from the fermentation broth of an ethidium bromide-treated strain (EtBr No. 32) of Streptomyces hygroscopicus 358AV2that was originally isolated as a carriomycin3?4) producing strain.
