Abstract

In view of the sweeping changes that have taken place in the electricity supply industry it is now, more than ever before, of vital importance that senior managers have easy access to processed data and information. This must provide them with knowledge of power systems and their constituent components. The implementation of Intranet technologies in protection and control systems will enable free and flexible acquisition of power system information at the appropriate location.
