Sweet SPOT: An efficient SPOT peptide synthesis methodology on self-assembled monolayer-coated gold surfaces was developed. Arrays of peptides and glycopeptides were subsequently used to evaluate substrate specificity of proteases and glycosyltransferases. The efficiency of all reactions could be easily monitored directly on-chip by using MALDI-ToF MS. Detailed facts of importance to specialist readers are published as ”Supporting Information”.
