Abstract A traditional reverberation chamber creates a statistically isotropic test environment. Tests of communication devices may demand different environments to be able to test, for example, the influence of a diversity antenna. Here, a simple way of altering the distribution of plane waves incident on the device under test is presented. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
