Abstract

Epilepsy-targeted health-related quality of life measures may be preferable to generic ones in longitudinal studies. Selection of a shorter epilepsy-targeted measure does not compromise responsiveness. Item response theory scoring should be applied to epilepsy-targeted HRQOL measures.
