A Convenient 2-Deoxy-α-<scp>d</scp>-glucopyranosylation Reaction Using Dimethylphosphinothioate Method

Abstract

Abstract Several 2-deoxy-α-glucosides were obtained in good yields with high stereoselectivity by glycosylation reaction of the corresponding alcohols with 3,4,6-tri-O-benzyl-2-deoxy-β-d-glucopyranosyl dimethylphosphinothioate in the presence of a catalytic amount of triphenylmethylium perchlorate or an equivalent amount of silver perchlorate.
