Particle addition and subtraction channels and the behavior of composite particles

Abstract

We propose a test to measure the bosonic quality of particles with respect to\nphysical operations of single-particle addition and subtraction. We apply our\ntest to investigate bosonic properties of composite particles made of an even\nnumber of fermions and suggest its experimental implementation. Furthermore, we\ndiscuss features of the processes of particle addition and subtraction in terms\nof optimal quantum operations.\n
