Effect of Sleep on Excessive Belching

Abstract

Supragastric belch is the prominent belching pattern in patients with excessive belching. Supragastric belches almost ceased at night suggesting the presence of a behavioral disorder. There were no diurnal changes in the rate of gastric belches.
