Sonographic assessment of the cervix before, during and after a uterine contraction is effective in predicting the course of labor

Abstract

Real-time ultrasound observation of the cervix during uterine contraction could help differentiate inefficient uterine contractions from normal ones and thus predict the subsequent course of labor.
