M have reported an unusually high relative frequency of non-leukemic lymphomas in ~h i l d r e n . ~, 5 , * , These names imply a disease unique to Africa and, indeed, a number of investigators consider the histopathology specific for an entity rarely seen beyond certain geographic limitations in Africa.12v By some, therefore, these lymphomas are thought to be determined by climatic factors.2
