Melting of Isochronously Decorated Single Crystals of Linear Polyethylene, As Monitored by Atomic Force Microscopy

Abstract

The atomic force microscopy study of thermal behavior of truncated crystal of LPE alternately crystallized from n-octane at Tc1=98 and Tc2=95°C was performed. It was found that the morphological evolution during annealing of iso-height crystal regions is nonuniform.
