A pilot study of prophylactic ciprofloxacin during delayed intensification in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia

Abstract

Compared to historical controls, patients in this study receiving prophylactic ciprofloxacin had a reduced rate and duration of hospitalization and incidence of Gram-negative bacteremia.
