Abstract

The roentgenographic changes in infants with leukemia at time of diagnosis are presented. Widespread involvement of multiple organ systems often causes many roentgen findings; the most predominant changes occur in bone. The dynamic character of osseous tissue in infancy results in a greater frequency of involvement in this age group. Certain osseous changes are due to nutritional disturbance rather than leukemic invasion. Roentgen findings were also noted in the chest, abdomen and urinary tract.
