Improved temporal basis function for time domainelectricfield integral equation method

Abstract

An improved stable procedure is presented for the time domain electric field integral equations. The procedure employs a new temporal basis function, which makes the time derivative of the unknown current density continuous. Numerical examples that demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed procedure are presented.
