Kinetic evidence for Na+-glucose co-transport in the pigmented rabbit conjunctiva

Abstract

Our findings are consistent with Na(+)-glucose cotransport as being one of the mechanisms for mucosal Na+ entry into the epithelial cells of the pigmented rabbit conjunctiva.
