Branching ratios for decays of light Higgs bosons

Abstract

We have carried out a coupled-channel ($\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\pi}, K\overline{K}$) analysis of the effects of final-state interactions on the branching ratios for the decay modes of a light Higgs boson. We find no large enhancement of $H\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\pi}$ relative to $H\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\mu}\overline{\ensuremath{\mu}}$ for ${m}_{H}<950$ MeV.
