Thermoluminescence from CO-doped solid Ar

Abstract

Cameron bands luminescence from a new thermoluminescence (TL) system - CO-doped solid Ar - has been investigated using selective excitation by synchrotron radiation and thermally stimulated luminescence methods. The photoexcitation and TL emission spectra of the Cameron bands are measured. The activation energies and the frequency factors of charge traps are determined by numerical fitting of the TL emission spectrum.
