(4-Dimethylsilyl-tert-butylamido)-N,N-diisopropyl-1-aminoboratabenzene ZrCl2 (7a) and TiCl2 (7b) complexes have been prepared. When activated by excess methylaluminoxane, 7a and 7b are catalysts for the polymerization of ethylene.
