ON SEPARABILITY PROPERTIES OF GROUPS

Abstract

It is shown that if a double F *H F of a free group F along a finitely generated malnormal subgroup H has f.g.i.p., then it is LERF. We also introduce a notion of double coset separability and show that a free group is double coset separable.
