Sulfhydration of p66Shc at Cysteine59 Mediates the Antioxidant Effect of Hydrogen Sulfide

Abstract

H2S inhibits mitochondrial ROS production via the sulfhydration of Cys-59 residue, which in turn, prevents the phosphorylation of p66Shc.
