Highly Purified Antithrombin III with Heparin Cofactor Activity Prepared by Disc Electrophoresis

Abstract

Antithrombin III was separated from bovine plasma by chromatography, followed by preparative disc electrophoresis. The specific activity was approximately 700 times that of plasma. The preparations possessed heparin cofactor activity.
