Abstract

In long-term haemodialysis patients, circulating sclerostin but not Dkk-1 is inversely associated with AoCs and future cardiovascular events. Our findings suggest that sclerostin, as a bone-related protein, might act as a communicator between uraemic bone and vasculature.
