Typical Sand Production Problems: Case Studies and Strategies for Sand Control.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper presents analyses of five typical sand problems commonly observed in the field. The causes and progress of these sand production problems are explained using field data to help field engineers gain a better understanding of the various sand problems encountered. Strategies for minimizing these sand problems are also discussed.
