Measurements of night-sky regions emitting photons having energies between 1 and 20 keV are described. Isophote plots are given for a portion of the sky near 5 hours of right ascension for photons in three non-contiguous energy intervals. The plots were derived from data obtained from several different gas-proportional counters carried aboard each of two sounding rockets. Locations of at least six regions, emitting photons in at least two of the three different energy intervals, are given. Absolute luminosities for 2-8-A photons are presented for the nearest of the stellar objects tentatively associated with these regions.
