The DABCO-catalyzed coupling reaction of methyl acrylate and acrylonitrile with enantiomerically pure planar chiral o-substituted (benzaldehyde tosylimine) Cr(CO)3 complexes after metal removal provides chiral amines in high yields and enantiomeric excess.
