Chemical Composition of<i>Tagetes minuta</i>L. Oil from Himachal Pradesh (India)

Abstract

ABSTRACT Twenty components of the essential oil of Tagetes minuta L. flowers from the Northwest Himalayas were identified by GC/MS. The major components were (Z)-β-ocimene (39.44%), dihydrotagetone (15.43%), (Z)-tagetone (8.78%), (E) -ocimenone (14.83%) and (Z)-ocimenone (9.15%).
