Abstract The present study is concerned with the perceptions of different professional groups to the Code-Müller Scale of Psychosocial Adjustment (SPA). By means of the Multiattribute Utility Technique, the valence/value of the SPA items was investigated in 22 members of the medical and therapeutic staff of a neurological rehabilitation centre (three occupational therapists, five physiotherapists, three neuropsychologists, six neurologists, five speech therapists). Opinions with respect to rehabilitation goals were compared among professional groups. The results indicate that these expert groups attach different degrees of importance to the various psychosocial adjustment attributes included in the SPA.
