Traumatic chylothorax is an uncommon entity which may be seen with increasing frequency. Several measures have previously been described in management, including drainage, dietary manipulation, and thoracic duct ligation. A case in whom a strict no-fat diet with medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) supplement leading to successful resolution of collateral chylous leakage is presented.
