Retinotomy and silicone oil for detachments complicated by anterior inferior proliferative vitreoretinopathy

Abstract

Patients with complex PVR requiring a large retinotomy often had similar presurgical conditions. A large inferior retinotomy effectively addressed proliferations where they most frequently occur, and silicone oil was beneficial.
