Respiratory Alkalosis and Metabolic Acidosis in a Child Treated With Sulthiame

Abstract

This is the first report of mixed respiratory alkalosis and metabolic acidosis in a child treated with sulthiame. Monitoring of the acid-base status should be considered in patients treated with sulthiame.
