We have observed 109 patients with this disease during the past decade. A brief review of the therapy in these patients is given. Among these 109 patients, 45 were treated orally with vancomycin. A summary of our striking success in the treatment of these patients is presented.MATERIAL AND METHODSThe cases selected for study included all of the 109 patients with staphylococcal enterocolitis observed at the Minneapolis Veterans Administration Hospital between 1955 and 1965.The diagnosis was made...References1.
