Abstract

Cisplatin (cisdichlorodiammineplatinum 11) is used increasingly in the chemotherapy of malignant tumours, including carcinoma of the bronchus. We report here two cases of dilutional hyponatraemia secondary to the inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone that developed in two patients with bronchial carcinoma receiving treat- ment with cisplatin.
