Equation of state of hard convex body fluids

Abstract

An equation of state is proposed on the basis of analysis of the third and fourth virial coefficients of hard convex bodies. The proposed equation of state and the corresponding contact values of the average correlation function possess simple forms both for pure fluids and their mixtures and yield values in good agreement with pseudoexperimental data.
