Zur Photocyclisierung von <i>N</i>‐Phenacylformamiden

Abstract

UV. Irradiation of N ‐Phenacylformamides UV. irradiation of suitable N ‐phenacylformamides ( e.g. 2 ) leads under transfer of the formyl H‐atom to the corresponding β‐lactams ( e.g. 3 ). Scope and structural limitations of the novel reaction are discussed.
