Ground Fault Current Distribution in Sub-Station, Tower and Ground Wire

Abstract

An analytical method to determine the ground fault current distribution in substation, towers and ground wire in case of a ground fault near the sub-station is presented, duly taking into account the effect of counterpoise and that of coupling between the phase conductor and the ground wire.
