Abstract

have compared the amounts of pancuronium and gallamine needed clinically to produce relaxation, with the concentrations of various serum protein fractions in female patients undergoing lower abdominal surgery. They could not detect any significant correlation between pancuronium dosages required and the concentrations of any of the serum protein fractions; they concluded that there was unlikely to be any significant binding of pancuronium by any of the serum protein fractions which they examined.
