Our purpose in this report is to present a summary and analysis of available information on oral occupational disease. The increase in occupational hazards and exposures coincident with speeding up of industrial activities in present emergency presents a special challenge to medical profession to maintain health of worker. It is private physician who sees most of industrial workers. He is therefore first to recognize early symptoms and findings of occupational diseases, many of which are in oral cavity. Ramazzini1(1633-1714), the father of industrial hygiene, was first to advocate inclusion of patient's occupation in each medical history and to point out a number of oral symptoms.
